THE RIGHT FIT
A proper fit is the only way to feel comfortable wearing the pouch or tube sling. Getting the perfect measurement is key. Just like a pair of jeans or clothing, one size does not fit all. These pouches are priced just right that you can afford to buy each parent his or her own pouch sling!
The fit around the baby should be snug and create a womb-like swaddled feeling. You most likely will be able to wear more than one size of the pouch. Comfort and ease may influence your size preference. Personally, I wear my baby higher on my chest and her bottom lays two-inches from my bellybutton.
To measure:
Use a flexible tape measure from the top of your shoulder, across your chest to your waistline above your hip bone. This will be level to your bellybutton. Allow some room for your breastfeeding chest. Sizes range from 21-30 inches along the inside seam. Most common sizes range from 23-26 for women; and 27-30 for men. Custom sizes are available.
**If you are pregnant, you will measure on your back side with room for your breast.
*Currently I'm on maternity leave and will not be having any custom fittings at this time.
